In her spare time, she enjoys showing horses, skiing and spending time with her children. She has 2 wonderful dogs, 3 horses and 3 cats.
Dr. McDonald is married and has three daughters. She enjoys gardening, canning, bee keeping, reading and spending time with her family. Dr. McDonald lives on a small farm where they raise red angus cattle and laying hens. She also has two dogs and several farm cats.
Now back in Nebraska to be close to her family, she is enjoying spending time with her family and working on her small acreage with her many animals.
Heidi is our licensed veterinary technician. She graduated from Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in 1996 and has loved working in the veterinary field since that time. She has been at Pet Care Specialists since 2014. Heidi has a “dorkie” dog named Rodney and an eyeless cat named Norma Josefina Henrietta Jane.
Jessica is a veterinary assistant at Pet Care Specialists, where she has been working since October 2010. In addition to her work at the clinic, she is also passionate about horse breeding and runs her own horse boarding facility. She shares her home with three dogs named Eddie, Colt and Rocker, a cat named Subway and several farm kitties. Jessica’s love for animals extends beyond her professional life, making her a true animal enthusiast.
Allison is a veterinary assistant who has been at Pet Care Specialists since October 2017. She loves working with animals and providing them with the best possible care. One of her favorite things is assisting in C-section surgeries. Outside of work, she is a proud pet parent to 3 dogs and 3 cats.
Austyn is a loving pet owner of a cat and a dog. He has worked at Pet Care Specialists since 2021. He started out as kennel staff and has worked his way up to Veterinary Assistant. One of his hobbies is fishing on his days off.
Sherry has been a veterinary assistant at Pet Care Specialists since 2000. She loves all animals, but her favorites are cats. She has two Tuxedo cats named Left and Right and two tiger stripe cats George Straight and Down. She enjoys working at Pet Care Specialists and with all her co-workers, especially the veterinarians.
Sarah has been with Pet Care Specialists since they opened in 1996. She graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Recreation Management. She started working at a veterinary clinic while looking for a job in the recreation field and as they say, the rest is history!
Sarah shares her home with a Bulldog named Ivy, two mini Sheep-a-doodles named Sophie and Ebby and two elderly cats Spooky and Miss Cat. In her spare time, Sarah likes working on projects around her house and watching or reading a good mystery.
Diane is our lead Client Service Representative. She is a loving mom of two boys. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym and fishing. She has been working at Pet Care Specialists since June 2021.
Isabela is a Client Service Representative. She has been working at Pet Care Specialists since April 2023. She enjoys crocheting and watching hockey in her spare time and is a "Swiftie"! She has a dog named Rodney.
